You can LIVE with it!

Conversations of today:

Called home to check in with Mom - Heather picks up the phone. The person I wanted to talk too :)

Heather: Hi Sis, how are you?
Me: I have never had a migrane, but I think I might

Heather: Does your head hurt so bad you wish someone would shoot you and just be done with it.
Me: Yes

Heather: Sometimes there is light headedness, and you hate light
Me: Yep

Heather: You have a migrane, go back to bed!

a few hours later

Cristal: Bec, why are you sick every weekend?
Me: I don't know but I am really starting to get sick of it.

Could it possibly be that school is busy, work is busy, life is busy, and I don't ever get any sleep. Maybe, but what do you do about it.

The Last Two Weeks

So I took off two weeks of work, school, life pretty much everything and went on a road trip to AZ which was wonderful. I forgot to take my camera cord with me (Explains the million posts tonight) It was so much fun to see everybody down there and get to spend a little time. I loved the trip I got to visit some fantastic people down there that I don't get to see a whole lot. Thank you to the Randy & Wendy, Ralph & Janet, Sheila & Fred, Len & Maricel, And all of my darling friends who let me come crash at their house for a little while. I also got to go out to Trappers for hot chocolate, Chef Salad & Pie (Thanks Kaelee & Jensen) and to Eva's for a much missed Chimichanga with Jalapeno Cream Cheese Sauce (Even if it did make me throw up).

Another Highlight was the mini reunion we had with some of the girls from High school.

Sorry for the one's we missed. (I don't think I look good in anyone's picutures - I am blaming it on the couch, I think it was like the chair and trying to eat me:)) THanks Stephanie for putting this together.

I am really sorry that I missed a lot of you on my visit. I wish Utah wasn't so far away sometimes.

I guess I have to go back to reality tomorrow. Work (Two people quit while I was gone :( and school - I just had to change my schedule for Young Womens - meaning - I have class every morning at 7 am. NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT ONE! Hope all is well with you, and that you guys all had a wonderful christmas and that you have a fabulous christmas. Love Ya!

Ryann's Baptism

The reason for my trip to Colorado was to see my niece be baptized. She was so dang cute, she called me to ask if I would play the piano for her baptism, and she told me that we were just going to sing primary songs for the opening and closing. Then she told me that her sister Aubri was going to be singing a secret song after she was baptized. I asked her what the song was and she said it was a secret, but not to worry it was just two pages. She wasn't planning on telling me what the song was at all. Later I asked Aubri what the song was going to be, and it was a secret to her too. Aubri & Debbie decided on "What Heaven Sees in You" instead of Ryann's secret song, but it turned out great. Her baptism was a very neat, humbling experiance for me, it was a great reminder of how simple the covenants we made at baptism are, but how important they are as well. What a great day!

Visit to Jeremy's

We left New Years day to travel to Jeremy's house. Colton & Stef rode with me. Colton was really cute, he kept commenting on how all of the hills on the way would be perfect for sledding and I told him that we couldn't sled down them because we didn't have a sled. He thought for a moment and then came up with a brilliant plan. Stef was asleep in the backseat of my car, and soon became the solution to his no sled dilema. He said "We can use her, she is asleep and won't notice anyway." I though I was going to die laughing. The things kids say! We were able to enjoy a second Christmas for Jeremy's kids, and spend some time playing games and bieng crazy. Fun Times!

New Years Eve

">

So sorry about the background for the slideshow, but the fireworks were driving me crazy! No there was not any alcohol involved in my new years eve celebration, I was celebrating with an 8 year old. It was a pretty low key party, but we did have some fun with the sparklers, streamers, & slime!

Christmas Day

Christmas was wonderful this year, as always, but I think this could have been the best one that I have had in a long time. Someone must have paid off Santa Claus because I didn't end up with coal. My paren't gave us all a starter kit for food storage which I am so thankful for! It was also fun to have Grandma there this year again. We got my parents a generator, looks like they can still have water without power! The kids thought that the food storage from Grandma & Grandpa was a joke and Lane was wondering where the presents were. Hopefully some day they will be thankful! We also did a white elephant gift exchange with my oldest brother & a few of my nephews and niece. It was so much fun to see everybody!

Christmas Eve

This was such a fun day! I am so very thankful to my mother and her overwhelming charity that she has for everyone. I hope that someday I can be like her. We were able to visit a nursing home where we sang a few carols and read the christmas story. It was such a wonderful experiance to share that special time with those sweet ladies. My heart broke as we were leaving, there were several of them who were crying. I asked my Dad if we were that bad, and he just laughed. I feel bad for those who aren't able to spend the holidays with thier family.

After caroling at the nursing home we decided to visit Barb, a neat lady that my Dad home taught for a really long time until they recently split the ward. We decided to sing Deck the halls for her, and I was the leader, the first verse went off well, but as I started the second verse I reverted back to grade school, Deck the halls with gasoline, fa la la la la la la la (Wow there are alot of those in there) strike a match and watch it gleam. I made it that far before I even realized what I was doing. I was so embarrassed, but everyone got a good laugh out of it.

When we got home that night we decided to play some ladder golf, which was great fun, but I couldn't see, so after pegging my dad a couple of times we went inside and jammed out to Rock band for a little while, it was great fun!

,

We then got to sing some carols with my cousin Lamar and had a special devotional by Kris. A great day!

Temple Square Dec 08

Temple Square with the girls

My little sisters flew up to see Temple Square before Christmas. Although the weather was freezing for the Arizona Girls, we had a good time. It is always a fun trip to Temple Square at Christmas.
