Cornbelly's Corn Maze

Last night a few friends and I went to the corn maze at Thanksgiving Point. I think Halloween is my least favorite part of fall. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have to make it creepy, or involve spiders in any way, but they do. I let them talk me into going through the Haunted Corn Maze. The whole time I kept thinking that this will be over before you know it. Just not my idea of fun! The worst part of the whole maze was the guy chasing me with a chainsaw. I felt bad later, but I think I almost took out some little kids running from him. I guess it didn't kill me, but definatly not something I want to do again any time soon.

The coolest part of the whole night was the jack-o-lantern tower. Somebody has some amazing talent for sure. There were a ton of really cool carvings, including President Hinckley's face. Sorry Stef - I didn't get a good one of Jack Sparrow :(, but it was cool anyway.

K. KIDS? Not That Lucky I am really grateful for friends who let me enjoy thier kids.) (Love my nieces and nephews try to be the favorite Aunt, but my sisters have me beat by a long shot.

M. MARRIAGE DATE? When will the millennium be here??

Jon Schmidt Concert

Last night a friend and I went to the Jon Schmidt concert. If you ever get a chance to see him in concert do it. He is not only very talented, but a great entertainer as well. He really gets into it, using everything to play including his head and feet. He turns over and plays the piano upside down, and plays better that way than I can normally. He had me laughing hard, but had me in tears at one point (I think it is because the lack of sleep these days). Pottery Night

A FUN night at YW

Tonight for YW we went to a couple in our wards home to make some pottery. Sheila & Denny are wonderful people, who are both very generous and patient with us. I have really come to love them since I have been here. I think the girls all had a good time, and we all left with smiles. If you ever get an opportunity to do pottery I would definatly recomend it.
